Air Fryer Potato Wedges

These air fryer potato wedges are tender on the inside, crispy and crusted with spices on the outside! They're easy to make and perfect as a side dish or appetizer when paired with your favorite dipping sauce!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds russet potatoes (about 3 medium potatoes)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh chives, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • Scrub the potatoes and cut them into wedges by quartering them lengthwise.
  • Place the cut potatoes into a large bowl and cover them with cold water. Let them soak for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 425°F.
  • Drain the potatoes and return them to the bowl. Add the oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt.
  • Toss the potatoes and use your hands to evenly rub in the oil and seasonings.
  • Place the potatoes into your air fryer basket (cook them in batches if they don't all fit), and air fry them for 15 to 20 minutes, turning them about halfway through. They should be fork tender and crisp on the outside when done.
  • Sprinkle the potatoes with additional salt to taste, black pepper, and fresh chives.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

To cook the potato wedges in the oven, arrange them on a baking sheet and bake them in a preheated oven at 425°F for 25 to 30 minutes, turning them halfway through.
