This vegan ganache is rich, sweet, and silky smooth! It's also super easy to make with just two ingredients! Perfect for everything from drizzling on cakes, pies and ice cream, to making truffles, to eating by the spoonful.

  1. Place the chocolate chips into a small heatproof bowl.

  2. Place the coconut milk into a small saucepan and set it over medium-low heat. Slowly bring it to a simmer, stirring frequently.

  3. Remove the coconut milk from heat as soon as it starts to simmer and immediately pour it over the chocolate chips. Let the coconut milk and chips sit for 5 minutes.

  4. After five minutes, begin stirring the coconut milk and chips.

  5. Continue stirring until all of the chips have melted and the mixture is smooth.

  6. Allow the ganache to cool completely. This should take about 2 hours.

  7. Use immediately or transfer to an airtight container for storage.

Recipe Notes

This amount of coconut milk will give you a thick, but pourable ganache. For a thicker ganache that's suitable for piping or making truffles, reduce the amount of coconut milk by up to half.
