Chocolate Peanut Butter Chia Smoothie

A smoothie that tastes like dessert but is good for you too?! YES! This creamy chia smoothie filled with rich peanut butter and sweet chocolate for a decadent and refreshing summertime treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened unflavored almond or soy milk
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 very ripe frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp. natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp. agave or to taste
  • 2 tbsp. cocoa or cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Optional: Stir chia and milk together and allow to sit for a bit, so the chia can soak up the milk. 30 minutes should do it.
  • Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Serve right away.
