HOW IT'S MADE 1. Sauté minced garlic in olive oil.

2. Add cherry tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, salt and red pepper flakes.

3. Simmer the sauce, smashing some of the tomatoes.

4. Add tomato paste, simmer another minute, then add basil.

5. Toss with cooked pasta.
