This refreshing blood orange smoothie gets a mild zip from fresh ginger, and a rich creamy texture from bananas and hemp seeds.

Ingredients
  • 1 large or 2 small blood oranges peeled, seeded and broken into quarters
  • 1 banana optionally frozen, broken into 3-4 chunks
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger peeled
  • 1 cup unflavored soy or almond milk
  • 2 tbsp. hemp seeds
  • ¼ tsp. cardamom
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides of pitcher as needed.
