These savory and flavor-packed roasted almonds are soaked in a smoky maple marinade, and then baked to crispy perfection.

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. liquid smoke
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350º. Mix maple syrup, soy sauce, vinegar and liquid smoke in small bowl. Add almonds and toss to coat.
  2. Arrange almonds in a single layer on parchment paper lined baking sheet, discarding any excess liquid. Bake 15-18 minutes, watching closely and tossing every five minutes or so. Remove when almonds begin to darken. Sprinkle immediately with extra salt, to taste.
  3. Allow to cool before eating, as they will crisp up while cooling.
