These flavor-packed blackened green beans are made by coating fresh green beans in Cajun spices and pan-searing until tender-crisp!

Ingredients
Blackening Seasoning
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • ½ tsp. oregano
  • ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
Blackened Green Beans
Instructions
  1. Mix up blackening seasoning and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beans and 1 tbsp. blackening seasoning and flip until beans are well coated.
  3. Cover and allow to cook for about 2 minutes.
  4. Remove cover and flip beans. Cover and cook another 2 minutes.
  5. Flip one more time, then cover again and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Beans should be tender-crisp.
