This vegan baklava is made with layers of flaky phyllo pastry stuffed with a sweet nutty filling.

HOW IT'S MADE 1. Simmer the syrup in a small saucepan.

2. Blend the filling ingredients in a food processor.

3. Layer phyllo sheets with melted vegan butter and filling.

4. Slice then bake the baklava.

5. Drizzle the syrup over the baklava as soon as it comes out of the oven. 6. Let it cool.

7. Drizzle the slices with melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts.
