This creamy vegan banana soft serve is flavored with rich cocoa powder and sesame tahini.
I’m back with more nice cream. I’ve been whipping up a lot of this stuff and it only makes sense to share my favorite flavor combinations here. I guess it’s safe to say I’m on a bit of a nice cream kick, and apparently a tahini kick too, as my next month’s posting lineup confirms. The two were bound to end up together somewhere, and here they are, along with some chocolate.
Adding a little nut butter, or in this case seed butter, richens up blended frozen bananas, and gives you something that tastes less like banana and more like ice cream. I love sweetened up tahini, and it worked beautifully here. A little toasted sesame seeds on top add a nice crunch.
Sesame Chocolate Banana Soft Serve
- 3 ripe frozen bananas
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- pinch salt
- toasted sesame seeds for topping
- Place bananas, tahini, cocoa powder and salt into blender and blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down sides of bowl as needed.
- Divide into bowls and top with sesame seeds. Serve.
